Heritage – Bike to School April 6, 2018
Heritage Parents and Families,
Today at Heritage we enjoyed learning about bike safety from the St. George Police Dept., Mrs. Berglund and our Student Lighthouse Team. They taught us some important tips to be safe while we ride our bikes. We even learned the ABC’s of Bike Safety.
A = Air Pressure – Always make sure your tires have enough air.
B = Brakes and Bolts – Check your brakes to make sure you can stop and look for any loose bolts.
C = Chain – make sure your chain is oiled and ready to go!
This was a great assembly to get us ready for our BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY!!! In conjunction with the Southwest Health Department, St. George City Police Department, St. George Bicycle Collective and the students, teachers and staff of Heritage Elementary we are excited to participate in a group bike to school day.
