Washington County School District Attendance Policy:

Please notify the school of student absences. If you have any attendance questions, please call the school (628-4427).

Attendance Information:

Absence: 2 points each

Half Day absence - 1 point each

Tardy - 1 point each

Ten points during the school year - The school contacts the parent(s).

Twenty points during the school year - The school meets with the parent(s).

Thirty points during the school year - A certified letter may be mailed home.

Forty points during the school year - District superintendent and attorney may be notified to pursue appropriate legal action.

Heritage Elementary 2008

Heritage Elementary was built in 2008. We are currently the largest elementary school facility in the area.
Heritage Elementary uses "Build-ups" every morning. Build-ups are positive comments about school and other students that anyone can share with the whole school during announcement time in the morning.
